Modern Tiny Living offers a premium tiny house at a middle-of-the-road price point. Its houses are average or slightly above average in cost.
“We’re not so big that we have our own TV show and were not on the east or west coasts, so our prices are little more reasonable. We have delivered finished homes for $30,000 to $65,000. We try to work with peoples’ budgets,” said Trent Heary, a traveling gypsy with the company.
Modern Tiny Living also sells shells to budget-conscious customers. “Our shell prices are extremely competitive. A 24-foot complete custom shell – windows, door, siding, roof, spray foam insulation under the subfloor – is typically $25,000, including a Trailer Made trailer that retails for $7,000,” said Heary.
The company also helps clients explore the realities of tiny house design and living at a nominal upfront cost that Heary says appeals to a lot of potential customers.
